How to begin a New Fellowship

WHAT IS THE SECRET OF WHAT WE DO AND WHY IT IS SO SUCCESSFUL? – THE SECRET IS THAT IT IS NOT US WHO ARE DOING IT, BUT HIM – WE MERELY FOLLOW WHERE HE LEADS US TO GO!

The secret is not a great program, it is to lead and bring people into the Presence of Christ, and to allow Him to lead them into His Glory from there!

This is the very reason for our success. We do not try, we allow Christ to do, and we follow Him as He does. That is why our fellowships need no extra ‘bells and whistles’, but in simplicity brings people into extraordinary revelation and experience of Christ Himself in His Living Person!

----------------------------------

Begin to lay a foundation for the Holy Spirit to build upon by simply calling a prayer meeting with the idea of building a strong discipleship fellowship. Share with others that the Lord wants them to grow strong in Him and in His Presence and that this fellowship will help everyone to grow.

*Lead in prayer and thereafter flow in worship.

*Bring a short Word and share some thoughts.

Topics and teachings can be obtained from the website's extensive video and teaching collection or from the articles featured, that are all coinstantly updated with new material.

*Open up the meeting for others to ask questions or to contribute to what you have shared.

Tell them that you will give them some notes won key topics to discuss among each other in the next fellowship to follow, and that you will do this for every fellowship meeting you will not personally attend.

Let them know how often you will come to visit them (once a month, or every two weeks etc.)

Explain to them that they should run the meetings just like the first one and as they saw you doing it.

This forms the foundation of the new fellowship and allows room for organic growth, as the Holy Spirit will cause them to develop and to grow.

Leaders will eventually emerge and be identified by the Holy Spirit as the fellowship continues to develop. Such leaders can then be appointed to coordinate the fellowship and also the additional fellowships that will be established as the fruit of the work of the Holy Spirit in them.

WHAT NOT TO DO!

*Don’t ask one to open the meeting and another to testify etc. In this way you will focus people on each other, rather than on Christ.

Testimonies are important for everyone, and are great for sharing at the end of each meeting.

Begin every meeting in Heaven and draw everyone else in that meeting up to Heaven! Focus them on Christ and on His Presence and allow them to lose themselves in the Presence of Christ, and let the rest of the meeting flow out of His Presence and by the leading of His Spirit. Begin by praying in the Spirit and lead others into that Spirit of prayer, then from there into worship and adoration and then into the rest of the meeting, as the Holy Spirit will lead.

*Don’t ask others to prepare for the meeting – Remember they are coming there to learn.

Lead them in the revelation of Christ, and then allow them to participate with questions or comments after you have shared the Word.

*Don’t ask others to share before they have not been a part of the fellowship for an extensive period of time and before you do not identify that they are ready to lead a fellowship themselves.

Allow God to first lay the correct foundations in them, uprooting the old religious teachings of error.

*Don’t ask others to share their opinions before you have not ministered what the Lord has shared with you. They may say something learned from a religious background, which the Holy Spirit will then have to contradict in Truth.
